Chamomile Extract Apigenin is a polyphenol, and is one of the flavonoids found in many of the foods consumed by humans. The anticancer properties of this compound have been widely studied, and even other flavonoids do not have anti-tumor properties. Many fruits and vegetables contain this compound, especially celery, coriander, cabbage, and green pepper. Fruits that contain this flavonoid are cherries,apples and grapes.
