Products Description
Trichosanthes is the root of the cucurbitaceous plant Trichosanthes. The product is irregularly cylindrical, spindle-shaped or petal-shaped, with a length of 8-16cm and a diameter of 1.5-5.5cm. The surface is yellow-white or light brown-yellow, with longitudinal wrinkles, fine root marks and slightly concave horizontal long lenticels, and some have yellow-brown rind. Solid quality, white or light yellow in cross section, rich in powdery, yellow xylem can be seen on the cross section, arranged slightly radially, and yellow vertical striped xylem can be seen in the longitudinal section. Odorless, slightly bitter taste.
